Quotes of Love
Hello Family and Friends,
Alex and I would like to invite you to bring your favorite quote about love and/or marriage to the ceremony. If it is possible for you to agree, could those of you coming as a couple bring one quote for the two of you? They could be a quote, the lyrics of a song, a line or two of a poem, a line or two from a play, or from anywhere else you draw your inspiration.
We will be inviting you to participate in our ceremony with these quotes. Please keep them fairly short. Feel free to bring your quotes in whatever language they were written in, and feel free to read them that way! This will be a bi- if not multi-lingual ceremony, so all languages are welcome!

We want to ask you all to be sure to bring your digital cameras for our wedding weekend. We will only have our photographer for the wedding ceremony, so we will be depending on you to document the bbq, wedding reception, and anything else that goes on. To share all of these photos, Alex and I have set up a Flickr site for all of us to put our wedding weekend photos.

The Latest
Hi Everyone,
We have firmed up our schedule for the wedding weekend.
For those in town on Thursday, we plan to go to a PawSox game.
Friday: BBQ at our place for all wedding guests
Saturday: Wedding and reception starting at 5p., Waterman Grille Providence, RI
Sunday: Brunch at our place at around 10 (earlier if folks are flying out and want a meal before they go. Just let me know!) for all wedding guests. We might also try to get a group to go watch fireworks later that night, but we know some of you will have to put in some obligatory family time, so no worries if you can't come. Or, bring your families along. The more the merrier!
Monday is a giant BBQ at Goddard Park in Warwick, RI. This is for wedding guests, friends, and extended family. Everyone is invited. You will receive a separate invite for this from my parents.

Wedding Registry

First of all, we want you to know that your presence at this special event means the world to us. Many of you are traveling from afar, and we very much appreciate your efforts to join us for wedding day.
We wanted to let you know that we have decided not to go with a traditional registry because we already have our household (mostly) settled. Instead, we are using Traveler's Joy. You can learn about our plans and view our page here: http://www.travelersjoy.com/members/alexandamywedding/.

Prelim Wedding Weekend Schedule
Hi All,
Alex and I are planning to reserve a block of seats for the Thursday, July 1st PawSox game. Fireworks, baseball, July summer evening! Keep an eye out for an Evite later in the spring.
On Friday night, we are planning to have a brief rehearsal for those involved in the wedding and then a dinner/bbq for everyone invited to the wedding.
Saturday is wedding day.
On Sunday or Monday, there will be a big BBQ involving many of the friends and family who we could not accommodate at the wedding. It will be an outdoor event at a park in the area.
All of these activities are optional, though we hope you will put the wedding high on your list! Hopefully, we will have great weather for a family and friend-filled weekend of fun!

Alex and I reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson-India Point. The rooms are reserved as the Greer-Haag wedding block. Rooms are $89/night, not including taxes. These rates apply from June 30th through July 6th. If you are interested in these rates, you do need to book the rooms before June 1st. The hotel offers guests free parking, free wireless, and nice views of the Providence Harbour.
